The Manicuring Specialty Program prepares students for licensure and careers in the nail care industry through comprehensive training in manicuring, pedicuring, nail enhancements, nail art, sanitation and infection control, client consultation, and professional salon practices. Students develop hands-on technical skills in a clinic-floor environment while learning the safety, communication, and business skills necessary for success in salons, spas, and entrepreneurship. The program includes 16 credit hours (600 hours) of specialized nail technology training designed to prepare graduates for the Texas Manicurist Specialty licensing examinations and entry into a growing, high-demand career field.
